no. why?
it is bad bad bad for a diabetic.
there are no long-lasting carbs, and too much protein (especially animal based protein)
This could cause all sorts of renal and kidney problems. talk to your nutritionist.

generally, diets = bad idea.

I don't think this is good to take them in our regular diet because they produce much and more protein and more diabetic. So this may be harmful in regular diet.

Not withstanding responses by others....YOUR posting is correct. Good on you.

Over many years, my GP and several hospital Drs/Surgeons and others have repeatedly reminded me that Grapefruit and its juice variously and seriously affects many drugs.

In many instances it GREATLY MAGNIFIES the drug's effect.
In many others it NEGATES the effect.

Both can cause extreme harm to the patient's health.

Bottom line....NEVER consume grapefruit whilst taking prescribed drugs, UNLESS your Dr has SPECIFICALLY told you THAT SPECIFIC COMBINATION is benign.

That way you may just LIVE LONGER.

Grapefruit is very helpful in removing or dissolving inorganic calcium which may have formed in the cartilage of the joints, as in arthritis, as a result of an excessive consumption of devitalized white flour products. Fresh grapefruit contains organic salicylic acid, which aids in dissolving such inorganic calcium in the body.
