Last week I was busy doing updates on my laptop in the kitchen while I was fixing lunch. I sad down to eat and thought: DID I TAKE MY SHOT?

I remember calculating the carbs but had no recollection of actually taking my Novolog shot!! I went ahead an ate, because I was afraid to take it then ... for fear I'd give myself a low.

Have you ever done that? Could remember if you'd taken your shot or done a bolus on the pump?

Suzanna/OR

(PS ... I evidently took it because 2 hrs later I was at 137.)

I have done that. But with a pump it is easy to see if you did or not because you will be able to go into the Bolus History and see if you did.

And that is another advantage of having a pump! Never thought about there is a history right in your pump! I have several online pumper friends and they are always after me to get a pump! LOL Not ready yet.

Fully agree, I used to get into a right tizzy at times wondering if I'd taken my shots before I got my pump.

A friend of mine uses coloured elastic bands on her pen. After breakfast she takes a shot and removes a (lets say) blue band. f she wonders if she has taken it she looks at the pen. If the blu band is gone the shot has been taken. If there are no bands on the pen then she forgot to put them back on as she woke.

That's a clever idea, using the colored bands on the syringe!
