I have had type 2 diabetes for years. You need to avoid anything of a greatly sugary nature. Almost all desserts and regular soda are right out. All other foods you only really need to be aware of the sugar content. Salad dressings for example have come a long way, now you can drown your salad with the best of them, if you choose the right ones. I have not touched regular soda (a previous fav) since I was diagnosed. And if you lose a lot of weight you MIGHT be able to beat diabetes into submission. There are documented cases of people beating it away completely.

Eating carb free and full of protein food is always better and it will help to decrease the chronic disease like diabetes. In case of diabetes diet food is always important to keep your health good and better to fight with the diabetes. Avoid sugary foods which are harmful to you and use sweeteners as alternative.

1.Sweets, such as chocolate, should be avoided. 2.Products that are made with white flour should be avoided. 3.Starchy veggies should be limited, especially parsnips, beets, and potatoes. 4.Milk should only be consumed in small amounts.
