Hi Connie,I am also Type 2 diagnosed 1.1.2000 & vision impaired. I've worn corrective lenses since grade school & when first diagnosed my vision went haywire. The blood vessels in the eyes are tiny & very susceptible to blood sugar changes. You need to see an eye doctor ASAP & make sure the dr knows you are diabetic.
There is another situation called diabetic retinopathy. I don't know much about it, but anything ending in "apathy" is not good. Once stabilized, diabetics need annual vision checks to help spot retinopathy or any other vision problems.
Good luck,
David
